Only one to go: 27a "Godwit landed in southern lake" Letters S?A?E?. Given the "southern" bit (S), and the fact that a Godwit is a wader, it looks like "swader": but I can't find any reference to a Lake Swader. Can anyone help please?

Thanks, scorpiojo. Obscure indeed! None of my dictionaries has and reference to this, nor my bird books (NOT a twitcher but I am a bird watcher). And "came" for "landed" is a bit of a vague connection. Expect Saga crosswords to be difficult, but I do think this clue is a bit weak.
