ChrisE - I apologise for my blunt comment on this weeks PEER REVIEW but I have tried to put forward clues in line with the competition rules.

However, I always feel that there is a bit of a clique that always vote for the same contestants no matter the clue so I shall no longer be participating. Best of luck in the future

Regards

Steve

As I said, I am embarrassed to win with that clue.

I honestly don't think there is "clique" voting, stevezodiac - please do continue to contribute.

Have you seen the attempt to stop "clique" voting in the Eurovision Song Contest? Culprits to be banned for three years!

Hi Steve Z - I think I know how you feel, but sometimes it's better to bite the bullet :). Your clues are always well thought out and entertaining)(imho). Please continue to contribute - I've seen too many move on :)

No Steve, please don't give up. I did PR for ages and never got a single vote! You've done better that that already.
However, I really don't believe there is clique voting.

Hi Steve...I hope you'll reconsider...the winning clues aren't always necessarily "technically" the best, I'm often slightly disappointed with the response to my efforts(though I've also been surprised when a rather flippant one of mine does well) but most of the fun for me is in composing the clues.

I can only underline everything Ixion has just said (including amazement very often at what "succeeds" & what doesn't ---on Clueless, too!).

Hi Steve; as the originator of Peer Review I have kept a close eye on its development and can honestly say that as a forum for people to showcase their skills and inspirations AND have fun doing so, it has been a success. I have seen no pattern of clique voting, perhaps some people prefer a particular style of composition, perhaps an unsophisticated offering just hits the mark from time to time for some of us but part of the fun is seeing the unfoldment or quirkiness of the result, it is a true democratic arena; I have also been surprised at the outcome sometimes but hey - there's most do queer as folk! The original intention was to glean peoples views and critiques of noteworthy clues as well as votes. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and I would respectfully ask you to reconsider. Please feel free to comment as extensively as you wish! Best, Paul
