Yes Meistersinger must have been a good day for Wagner. As I may have said before with my Dad's job I was exceptionally lucky to have seen many Opera's, concerts and ballets although it has to be said I don't think I appreciated it at the time and can't afford it now!! Hope you are well and I miss our chats. x

The Vienna concert sound wonderful. i was as a very young child at St Mark's Venice for a concert where the acoustics are apparently wonderful - wish I could remember it. Wagner such a popular choice among the experts just glad I am not an expert. Stay warm and safe. x
