Hi. New to the forum but have used it as a parasite in the past. For 15 across: "Mostly dry, a wine in Bordeaux, say" the only answer I can think of is "seagirt". It is mostly dry but I can't see how it sounds like a wine in Bordeaux. Can anyone explain or am I wrong?

seaport
se(c) = dry + a port(left)

Are you sure of the g? Could it be Se(c) (mostly dry) + a + port (wine) giving seaport, Bordeaux, say?

And there was I thinking I had it all correct for the first time! I had spindrift for 11 down. Now I see a more obvious answer to that one! Many thanks.

I opted for SEA (R) + PORT
Sear=Dry
Cheers Thea
