I've run out of ideas with two final clues ; 29A "He avoids dash and smells 'orrible plants" (7) and
27d " Women leaving small change containing pounds...or stones" (7). Hints welcome.

I have a full grid and the two word phrase but I am still nowhere near getting what needs to be highlighted. Any heavy hints would be much more than welcome.

if you look in Chambers for the defn of your 2 word phrae it gives you another 2 word phrase 9,7
Start with the T in 1a and continue using unchecked letters in 14 (think there's mistake here as preamble says 15) to spell out the 2 word phrase.
Ask again if you don't follow what I mean!
