Good afternoon jolan, not sure I'll make much of an impression today since I've been on the sauce since Saturday and as I'm already in the pub it looks like another lost day. Having said that, rather surprisingly I see #s 3 & 4. Cheers.

Hi Jolan - just a quick peek to see how things are going. I see you haven't lost your touch. I have all 5 today but won't be around to post. I think #5 is quite brilliant :)

Hello Jolan!
I dont get as much time now to have a look at your clues, but have a go when I can. Got three of them so far and have to agree with RE, #5 is a cracker.
Never read it... (but I might now!)
Regards
TR

Just taking a wee peek in. Nice to see fieryjack, ginge (hic!) , therogue and RE.
Well, RE! How nice to see you again. I've missed your contributions. All five, eh? Your solving ability is still going strong. I see from another thread that you're slowly improving on the health front. That's very good to hear. May the improvement continue steadily.

I haven't had the free afternoon that I was expecting, so I've made little progress.

I love #5, and I'll see what the others are fairly shortly, I expect.

Thanks, jolan.

I have just two to offer which jumped out at me within 7 minutes of looking in;

2. an anagram (catholic priests = anagram of "pitch as cloister is"
5. Dombey and Son (novel by Charles Dickens) anagram of "banned sodomy)
(novel used as anagram indicator)

Looking forward to seeing solutions to the others.
Enjoyed the challenge, and thanks for your hard work, Jolan. Jg

PS My good wishes to redundantelf for your continued good recovery.
