Hi janebb, I'm about half an hour from London and we had rain and a bit of thunder about the same time as you. All is calm now

Just had to join in the discussion about the weather! I live in the South-east of London on the Kent borders- all we had was a bit of light(ish) rain! no thunder or strong winds! didn't last long either!
