A very Happy New Year to all. I'm a bit late posting today. Still recovering from the wassailing! Hope this first few of 2014 will be entertaining. J

I set clues just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few? Since they're new, no letters!

If a famous football team does figure in 1 I will not be happy. Still missing 1 and 2. Chilling out here, though at least it's above 0 F. Very windy- feels like -10.

Got it as soon as I'd posted. Still having site problems- may not be punctual.

Inspired by the cold air, I saw #1 straight away.

Cup of tea now, then I'll think about the others.

I heard a forecast for Minnesota on our radio this morning that predicted temperatures of -40F. What is redundant about that?
