J.D. sat around
On his rear, off his dial
"This whiskey"
He growled "Will do me a while"

He mastered distilling
And the whiskey did last
Seeing the future
And also what passed
(5-5)

Evening all.

Well, a plethora of quality entries to mull over and it's been great fun for me to read them all. Chris & jws with refs to The Doors which are a favourite group of mine, AB's lovely mirrored face design, aristo... well, I knew someone would take the bait for a 'arse' ref, well done mate. Imagcq & mrw with excellent succinct offerings, Fieryjack's backward marvel, Theambler's second attempt was excellent and very pleasing to read, although drawn out, very effective reading. Rambler's influence from Julian (where's Sandy gone?) Greedy Kite's sticking with the festive theme of Jan - New Year. Superb extraction anagrams from Ginge & BBM2, also Stevezodiac who had some great clue work going on but has retracted his well constructed efforts. bobs mum with her excellent &lit persuasion. Busby's fluent surface read at 22 and Paul's late entry which had me scratching my head looking for the 'tuxedo' until the Dinner Jacket (DJ) sprung to mind.

Really difficult to choose a winner tonight and I am going with the clue that gave me a lovely moment of reminiscence. Being an avid follower of the late 80's - early 90's Acid-House scene and a regular attendee in the rave scene, I say BRAVO! To Paul for his quality surface reading clue at Post 21:
