14 Down. Aussie native's keeping bottom pot with hot curry (5,4)

I have inserted "ROGON, JOSH" which fits in with all the other clues, but cannot see why apart from the obvious "curry". I would so grateful if someone would be so kind as break it down into very simple layman terms for me. Thank-you.

I'm working on it. One point, though - it's usually rogAn josh, not rogOn

Aussie native keepinG bottom will give you the RO G O bit

Ganja is pot - take off the final 'a' (keeping bottom).
Roos would be Austrailian native's (roo's)
and add h' for hot.

Ro ganj osh.
