Just going out for some holly and ivy, saw my favourite tree (a Ceanothus zanzibar) has blown over. I planted it to hide a new house next door and it had just got to roof height.
At least it didn't do any damage
What a shame. Is it a complete write-off or will it shoot again?
They say Ceanothus don't like to be pruned but I cut one back almost to the ground once and it came back as good as new very quickly.
Have a lovely Christmas. x
