I'll leave you with this to think about.
I had the strangest dream on Friday. I woke up having just had a dream about a conversation with another (unknown) person about blind people dreaming. In the dream I had, me and the unknown person were deliberating over how a person who was blind from birth (thus having never seen anything ever) could possibly dream about things and explain them as sights.
We must have all had dreams saying "I was walking through a forest (or something similar) and I passed some people (or a dog or any living thing) and a car (or other object) passed by, etc .
Do you get the idea?
We explain things by description of what they look like or what they actually are because we recognize them from our real world of what is known in our perception.
The question is (and was in my dream) how can a person who has been blind from birth and has no memories of sight perception perceive their dreams.
Do they explain them as feelings or use their other senses to describe their dreams.
Does anyone here know someone who has been blind from birth and can explain how or if they perceive dreams because I would be very interested to know the answer.
I'm sure some of you may feel I've made this up but I assure you that this was a real dream I had and I would have to agree it was a very profound subject to dream about, however, a damn good one to ponder over.
I haven't touched Google on this one because I want to hear some real stories about what i have asked.
Goodnight all and I look forward to some feedback.
