This time last year - well not quite it was tomorrow and much later on - we were chatting and you were looking forward to a special birthday with a special dram. Well early Happy Birthday wishes and I hope you will be enjoying that special dram.

Hiya T Long time hey, hope you and the girls are doing well. I have followed your occasional droppings in, and i know you are missed by many here.

Not really a special birthday, well i suppose they all are 74 this year and loving it. There are some very suspicious looking packages all cunningly shaped to disguise the fact they are some of my favorite tippples. I think my family want me drink myself to the grave Ha ha. At least i can enjoy trying!

I think we decided all birthdays are special, any excuse for a tipple. Girls doing well - though this is the first Christmas without my eldest who is in Ireland with her partner and family. Feels very strange. Trying hard not to be bothered.

Have a wonderful time and a brilliant 2014 as they say up here lang may your lum reek. Well they used to - hence the coal.
