Hi paul
According to the rules (devised by Rambler), once you have solved a clue, you remain out until a clue has been declared OPEN. Everyone can join back in then.

We have both solved clues since the last "open", so we remain out until another one is declared.


Rambler reckoned it gave more people a chance to solve a clue. However it works better when more are participating.
