It seems that there are some errors. CHOICE looks good. Would GREAT be better than BRILL?
I can't find anything to fit 24 with the letters you have.

That would fit, but maul sounds more aggresive, than wound by scratching. Where do they get their clues and answers, that sometimes don't really match? Thanks for help, I am just going to use maul

I agree, but if you are mauled (e.g. by a big cat or a bear, for example) I'm sure scratching would be involved!
