Yes, Inset is the (only) word that fits but how does it parse?

Inset ( In Service Training.) Teachers in UK have 5 days each year when they work in school on courses without the children present.

The extra page definition was understood and, I imagine, would be by most solvers.

The double definition educational reference I feel is somewhat arcane, however.
