I can't get anywhere with Listener 4268, so am going back to last week's which I have almost 3/4 full, but have got stuck. Can anyone help me get going again, please? There is probably a misprint in the definition. A few of the clues have something else going on, which I don't understand yet.
2d. Fiddly item with leg covering that Uggs provide (7)
11d. Small women spotted? Beggar's lurched. (6)
Thank you.

I think eggs, not uggs, and five clues needed a certain letter moving before solving.

Thanks, MrM. I thought it might be eggs, but hadn't got much further. This is quite tough!

If you google "8d 35d" you will probably get a relevant picture (not a musician). Happy to help with theme at mr.mournful@btinternet.com

I have a full grid, theme, person, etc but don't know whether to cut with scissors and paste or to erase and rewrite. It must be to do with the bars , but, even though I have composer of tune and read all relevant literature on this and three titles and person and real name, I still do not know. I have dealt with instruction to erase part of the abbreviation. So it all makes sense apart from:

Please can you help - is it cut OR erase and rewrite?

Thank you.
