Hi,

I am new to crosswords and hence would like your help in solving a large puzzle i stumbles upon a few days ago. The puzzle is as follows:

This place has the tip of Mary's tongue,
By three kingdom's once the palace was rung,
This place is famous for its progress and funny moves,
Its players stand united or fort of taff choose,
The NRB is the mainstay for having fun,
Alas, I gave away too much, am I undone?
The final clue to the place Mary seeks,
This unique art was born here,
Its tripartite name look down see'r:
Ong Bak's Cuisine have the first part done,
By three kcd creates waves in sooner state,
Last made famous by song with Andrews the Plummer in Austria

Looking fwd to a great discussion

The last line must refer to the Sound of Music but I'm not sure what we are looking for. Twelve answers or one?

If it's 12 clues, it would help you'd number them.

The final answer is a word or a phrase .. the lines are all hints indicating towards the final answer ... like the first line might indicate letter "E", then "NRB" is placed in the word which when shuffled (am i undone?) might result into something. ... i am still trying to solve this

Hi Ramsy,
Forgot to say welcome to the forum.
Perhaps if you gave the exact instructions that went with this puzzle someone might be able to help. The lack of response suggests that everyone is as confused as I am.

The answer would appear to be pointing to (South) Korea
Three kingdoms once- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Kingdoms_of_Korea
NRB is No Rae Bang - Korean karaoke
Ong Bak - pejorative term for Thai+
Kwon ? + Doe (as in Doh a deer - sung In Sound of Music by Andrews / Plummer in Austria gives Tae Kwon do - started in South Korea.
By no means all tied up but seeming to point in that direction?

Just realised (through Google) that Korean soccer player Pak JI Sung turned out for Manchester United and and Kim Bo-Kyung plays for Cardiff- which means Fort of Taff.....
