Apologies from me Jolan. I've been playing golf for the last few weeks....but as Jazzy suggests I always look in. The trouble is that I haven't had enough time left to take part. Unlike Aristo I rarely see them immediately. I don't think this dry weather will continue much longer so I will be back!

Jolan, i've missed taking part in 5@5 for a couple of weeks now, can't be helped but i do try to have a look - always very high standard stuff - had a quick peek earlier today and got diddlysquat.

@Aristo - good suggestion from jolan, or try using a proxy just to see what occurs.
have you tried deleting cookies?
i use an Ad-on (a firefox ad-on called Ghostery) which tracks and (if you choose) blocks the 'trackers' on all sites. i have 'whitelisted' this forum but in general i don't get much targeted advertising - certainly not your local 'cathouse' maybe you could post that link?

I've deleted my cookies (as opposed to tossing them [do you use that expression over there?]) and tried different browsers. The targeted ads I don't mind so much; there are quite a few for restaurants in Providence for some reason. I just don't get why it's only this site I have trouble with, being unable to access it so often. The odd thing is that it's happened when I've visited it at work, with a different carrier. Perhaps it really is Mr. Obama being concerned about my sharing vital clues with foreigners...

Thanks for the clues, Jolan. I knew 'tearful' wasn't right but I liked the parsing so I bunged it in. Played around with last one but 'crim' eluded me with 'criminal' appearing later in the clue.
