I need some help with the parsing for these.....

Redecorated skips one time in New York, say: most colourful - REDDEST (I think)

Head of Scotland Yard team - SQUAD? If the 'S' is from S(cotland) then 'Yard' would be QUAD but it looks wrong.

Quad short for quadrangle
