Good morning all, stuck on a couple and needing either clarity or correct answers please!

11a) Scotsman's first hour spent finding members of sect (5) - I have alien - on basis that lien is a scots word
3d) perhaps someone you cant have begun to analyse mentally (5) - I have doyen
methinks I have gone wrong somewhere!!

11 Amish, sect. It's Hamish, Scotsman, with the 'h' omitted ('first hour spent' - remove the 'h' from hour().
