Just one I`m stuck on. 23 ac.(5)
I have: ? R ? C ? Is it brace ? If so, why ?
Also, if Balfour is right for 15 ac, can someone explain the parsing, please? Mags.

Got it ! The back room` is lab (laboratory) backwards.
`Four` is a boundary in cricket ( I think). Mags.
