Struggling really badly today. Grateful for any help with the following:-
10a (8) 'Looking back, I governed without ridiculous airs'. I've got --s-----
18a (6) 'Note return of drag star getting on nerves'. I've got -e---l and am thinking 'neural' but am not sure.
5d (7) 'Was initially confused and walked oddly'. I think it's i---d-d
8d (5,4) 'Drug courier without legal action coming up taking on runs for many customers'. ----- -s-r. I'm thinking 'user' but don't know the rest.

5d I think starts with W rather than i

8d 4 letter word for a drug courier around 4 letter word for a legal action upwards, then R for runs.

neural looks OK, but I can't parse it.
No idea for the other, except it should contain an anagram of "airs", I think

18 a Note = N + return of drag star = eural (larue was a drag queen)

10a Disraeli

Not sure if 10ac is unfair or extremely clever - do you think it is an "&lit"?

Disraeli would be right, but where does the definition fit in the clue?

I was thinking the same thing chriee, maybe its missing an exclamation mark.
