Oh my. Really stuck this week! Subordinate to member in man's vest, for example (12) __ __D__R__ __ __ __ __ __ __ I assume its under something but not getting the man's vest bit. Also Crabby old American holding up tin vessel?(12) I don't have any idea at all. Please explain this one. Many thanks.

Undergarment = vest, under + g (arm) ent
Arm = member within gent = man
