How is the job going? We missed your contributions to Clue Chain yesterday!

Hi Chris

Oh when I came home yesterday and read through clue chain I was so jealous but I am so pleased it is up and running.

The job is going well I think I am at that funny stage of nearly knowing what I am doing but not quite there yet. I did,how ever, go out on Saturday night so maybe I am getting used to it - though this is a six day week but I get a day off next week so no surprises it will be Friday so a long weekend:)

More importantly I am enjoying the work especially dealing with the volunteers.

How are you? Still cooking I see and of course golfing. Loved your comment about your friend who has had two knee replacements but couldn't play before anyway.

Glad to hear that you are getting on top of things.

Girls are good - youngest also started a new job after 6 years at Santander. A decision I thought was quite brave as she had security but second day in all is well so far!!!

Are you watching any footie tonight? Watching Celtic v Ajax. All good so far but very nervous hence the laptop :)

Actually.............we are listening to the Sixteen's concert on Radio 3 (don't get the wrong impression - this is rather unusual, but my wife has sung some of the material on the programme, so wanted to hear it).

No emrach - just listening in awe at how good a professional choir can be (and, I must say, the amateur one in which she sings is pretty good too!)

Loved the "bike shed clue" and it was good to see new people. I read the cold is giving you jip but if it helps I find my bones more achy and I don't have any metal plates:) As a Killy fan I am sure you are interested to know Celtic are 2 up, still time to lose it though x
