I know it's a bit late but I thought it worth mentioning that 3 puzzles from this year's Grand Final (in addition to the regular 'back page'), are in today's copy of The Times.

Hi Rusty, I haven't had a chance to look at them yet, but the general feeling seems to be that they are indeed tough, especially no.'s 2 and 3.

Not seen them for the last couple of years but do know they're usually a bit trickier

To me, they are a fair bit tougher than usual, Brendan.
I am halfway through puzzle 2 and will hopefully finish it when I get a chance tomorrow!

Thanks Brendan - do you havea link for the other 2 as well please. I expect you will have to give us the soultions too if they are indeed so hard.

Well, I have managed to complete all three, eventually, and they were certainly tough, for me, at any rate, but also very enjoyable!
