I think 5d is "Peach Brandy" - but why is this so?

What is the clue, please? Not all of us have the crossword and we like to help if we can.

A peach is a pleasing thing. 'Make' is a brand, 'Y' is an unknown constant.

This reply is for ab and jazzgirl (because I, too, find it frustrating when a poster fails to give the clue. Actually "frustrating" is just a euphemism. I'm trying not to say anything when I haven't anything nice to say!)
The full clue is: Drink, especially pleasing thing, make unknown (5,6)
