You're welcome. Actually, Ixion did the work.

So, you're a Kiwi. Whereabouts?
Used to live there & a good part of the family does.

Yup, I'm a kiwi. I live in the beautiful Coromandel. It's my favourite country in the world too. :p

Yeah, contend at your peril :-0

Coromandel- wow. I tried to add a short tour onto a longer one in 2008 but APT charged a single more than two peole travelling together! I protested but just got rude answers; when I finally got an apology and an acknowledgement it was a printing error, it was too late. Then I went with a friend in 2011, he drove and I went to sleep going up the North coast of the peninsula. I couldn't believe it. Stayed at HaHei beach (sp?) , just missed the quirky train, would love to walk the walkway (that companion didn't do walks).
Don't care much for NZ towns and cities, even Napier though Art Deco is one of my interests. But the rest, wonderful.
Stewart Island is as near paradise as any of us are likely to get

I've never ventured to Stewart Island myself, despite having lived in the South Island for 5 years. I do hope to get there one day though. I love Hahei, beautiful area all along that coast. I'm from a place a little more remote - Kennedy Bay, which is also on the same coast as Hahei but much further up. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else now v thatb I'm back home, except maybe Stewart Island :p

Sounds wonderful.

Not sure I'd want to live in paradise, but it's one of the few places you can walk round the coast seeing almost no litter, have beaches to yourself and the oyster catchers, and you can walk alone and not be afraid. I'm told their only crime in the last few years has been someone stealing from a freezer! I had better stop or get bollocked for "no crossword content".
