Best wishes, mrw. I play regularly with a friend who has had two knee replacements and will shortly required a third. His golf isn't very good (but it wasn't before the replacements either!)
That reminds me - I taught Krishnan Gurumurthy. He was given a Channel 4 interview programme when he was still a teenager. I saw him soon after the first series. He told me that John Prescott had been as helpful and encouraging as one could wish, but that Jimmy Saville had been a right B******.
...also the Vicar meeting a parishioner in the street, carrying some bread and a hand in his pocket:
"Ah, Mr Harris, I see you have the staff of life in your hand. And what might be in the other hand?"
"Er........it's a loaf of bread, vicar".
Just what I needed Chris. That made me chuckle. My daughter came home yesterday from uni for a flying visit, I have just taken her to the railway station. I'm missing her again already.
