A truss is a bundle or pack. Train at start - tr + US American + ship - s?

TR[ain] US and S for ship.

Hi everybody, the abbreviation USS is short for United States Ship/Steamer.
It wasn't just made up for Star Trek as in USS Enterprise, with the last S here being Starship.
