I could do with some sunshine now as its wet & cloudy here in N. Dorset. Hip progressing slowly & last dressing removed on Friday when I returned to check up clinic. Just bored now sitting in chair with a few ambles for exercise around rooms! Had a shower this morning but it took ages as I'm so slow if one can't bend at all! Halfway through xwords from Saturday so will plod on ! Oh for some sunshine!

It's raining cats and dogs down here! I had the enviable task of walking three dogs in the rain, then enjoying the car ride home with all the windows steaming up, and with wet nose prints on the rear window. Then I had to dry them all with towels (and one with a hairdryer!) Two are now lying in front of the fire. What a joyous aroma. Sending good wishes to you. You are progressing well. Keep up the good work. Jg

Hi Recoral, Just think a few weeks ago you couldn't shower so great progress. I know its frustrating when you want things to happen quicker but slow progress is still an improvement. Sorry I'm so late replying but had to pick a friend up from airport. The jacket she was carrying was really damp from the rain at Stansted this morning. We took her to lunch on the way home and sat outside. I hope your weather improves so that you may be able to venture outside a little bit. All the best, and keep smiling. xxx

Thank you all kind friends as I really appreciate your response. Did you read mamya's link? Johnny & I had such a laugh over it & a good laugh now is really welcome!
On another point jazzgirl have you really got 3 dogs to care for? I think I should count my blessings that I don't have dogs to rub down ..... Or meet people from a wet airport!

Mamya's link was great :). Laughter is such a good medicine. The dogs are not my own, sadly, but I had the privilege of looking after them for the day which I often do. Back to normal today . Best wishes Jg
