22a (9) Floors less organised, covered in cream mostly'. I think it's --w-l-e-s
22d (3) 'Book a piano roll'. I think it's --p

What do you think of 'bewilders', as in floors (to floor someone in their thinking etc.)? I still don't get the rest of the clue, though.
