A harsh an unnecessary comment if i may say so fieryjack. This is after all meant to be a friendly competition.

bob's mum, harsh but fair I'd say. there really wasn't any need for such a palaver, if you can't work it out yourself why on earth should you vote for it. fieryjack was treated abysmally.

but, and correct me if i am wrong GK DID vote for fieryjack @ post 26, and only questioned ixions clue after ----- again, 'treated abysmally' is very strong language.Most of us in the past have had to acknowledge and appreciate the eventual verdict either on clueless or peer review, and as far as i can remember, everyone has has the good grace to do that with pleasure and genuine happiness for the winner. Not sour grapes and nasty words.

Bob's mum, he did indeed vote for Fieryjack. but once ixion's clue had been explained to him he promptly (and at great length) said how much he wished he had voted for it and not Fieryjack's. quite how that equals "friendly spirit" defeats me. I'm not surprised Fieryjack feels a bit miffed.

As you can no doubt see bobs mum i did have the good grace to congratulate the winner.
It is not sour grapes that prompted my response it was the fact that GK even apologised to ixion for not voting for him @ 42 am i supposed to just let it pass without comment. As it seems you yourself have no problem in doing.
Anyway bobs mum would it not have been more politic to let GK respond himself before adding your penny's worth and making a mountain out of a molehill
