It is good of you to offer to exchange email addresses and I know it would be safe in Les's hands. But I am very wary of giving my details out due to mine being hacked last year and this caused me problems on the forum. I am happy to exchange hints on the RT thread and I hope that no one would object. I think you and Chris are better gardeners than I !

Jazzgirl. Thanks for the reply. I quite understand your reluctance to give out information. In some ways I am luckier in that I use the computer in the local library and things are blocked centrally at the slightest hint of anything untoward. Meantime good gardening!
