Hi, aristo, we've got places like that here but we call them palaces.
We're staying near Hyères - we usually rent an apartment in the old part of the town we're visiting but all those on offer were owned by French speakers only so we are in a modern apartment in the nearby coastal village of Carqueiranne owned by a nice lady from Oxfordshire.

As i'm new to this and having read a few earlier threads there seems to be some office politix going on. So my first vote goes for
