I've really enjoyed your contributions to this forum Sam and would hate to see you go. Why?

(I'm not posting this week or next as I shall be away).

Lots of good clues to choose from. I liked paul @ 15 and aristo's lovely "double sounds like" @ 7, but my vote has to go for the very clever, historically and nautically accurate:

jdwishbone @ 19

jdwishbone @19 (I'm a sucker for byzantine complexity.)

rambler: I liked your US body-parts operation @34. Have you rented a c... uh, a charming little house somewhere? By the way, not far from here, in Newport, Rhode Island, the Four Hundred (of New York society- Astors, Vanderbilts, etc.) built obscenely lavish mansions which they referred to as the C word. Google The Breakers or Marble House or The Elms to see what they thought a c------ was.
