Finished all but 31dn - can't find the critter anywhere despite having all the options. First and third letters missing. Help anyone?

You need an 'a' and an 'i' - if you treat it, like the other unclued answers, you'll see how it fits in with the other critters.

Thanks Malone, I was being lazy, couldn't face working through all the redundant words to see which letters were missing. The other critters were fairly obvious I thought.

That one was my last critter and held me up for a while - the others were easier to find.
