I'm stuck on 23 across "Eerie to predict the future without first asking? I think might be scary but cannot see why. Also 17 down - b - a - o - David's son taken out by mob alas I thought it was Abraham but it will not fit if its an anagram of mob alas I cannot work it out. Help please, yet again.

thanks Mamya, I couldn't see why that should be the answer, otherwise quite straightforward this week. I like a lot of anagrams, at least you know for sure you are correct if the letters all coincide. Best to all, have you our sunshine? GG.

Didn't get my RT until today. All done.
23 a is scary. If you take out (without) the a (first asking) you get a word which means predicting the future, apparently with crystals.

Good afternoon rt'ers - Seems that most of you found this weeks puzzle easy - However I'm still struggling. Further clues for 24A *o*t*/v** "Drunkard to say " I leave quietly". 19D *l*** "Gather in numbers for fastening" & 21D t*r* "Indeterminate expression" - term ?
