Which transport system do a certain group of people refer to by a name that happens to be that of a post World War 2 Grand National winner.

P.S I think the questions too vague, is it a local nickname for an Underground System e.g Clockwork Orange Glasgow, or could it be one in fiction. I have looked at all the Horses and even Greyhound grand national winners. It's impossible to find.

It's from the Great Fun Quiz. The quiz setter requests that questions from the quiz are not asked on sites like this. Pastiche is well aware of this but continually chooses to ignore the request. So please don't aid his/her cheating by answering.

Why can't I ask for help on this site, its what the site is for. It's the same as asking for help with a prize crossword question! If you do not want to give an answer could someone give a clue!

I fully agree this is a forum for asking for help on questions, usually crosswords. However, you well know that this is a question from the latest Great Fun Quiz and the question setter has specifically stated that his questions should not be asked on Internet forums. The same rules applied to the now defunct Great Brain Quiz. You ignored those requests by asking GBQ questions repeatedly and now seem to be doing the same with GFQ. Please do the work yourself, have a guess or leave a blank space, it's perfectly harmless and all your own work.

Pastiche – The nature of this site is irrelevant. You’ve chosen to do a quiz where the quiz setter has requested ‘no asking for help on internet sites’. Please explain why you think it’s OK to ignore those requests and ask for help anyway.

No wonder I could not understand the question, it's nothing to do with conventional transport but a system which transports computer operating systems across networks called Enterprise Service Bus known as ESB which won the Grand National in 1956. Thanks for all your help!
