After breezing through nearly all of this I am left with two down clues in the SE. I am wondering if I have the across "crosser" wrong. Could anyone confirm or otherwise please?
(There is a preamble to the efefct that 4 clues are undefined and mean "not difficult". I think that this is one of those, perhaps?)

24ac See rebel entering spill drink? (3,5)
I have TEA PARTY - is this correct?

This clue and 23ac seem to be grammatically incorrect - 23 says "The last thing a wedding guests expects to eat?"

tea party is wrong - you need a 3letter rebel inside a 5 letter dord for spill ( fire lighting type not spilling drinks)

23a yes I think it should be wedding guest in the singular

You're right about the guest(s), chris --- funny how one reads what one wants (expects) to read! Have a nice w/e!

With 18a "Somewhere like Peterborough said to get wet through" (4) I've got s-a- and assume the answer is soak but don't see the Peterborough connection.
Any help welcome

The Soke of Peterborough is an area of jurisdiction --- see "soc" in Chambers or Google!

Have a good one too, GK

The Soke/soak one is an instance of a "sounds like" where you have to have a crosser before you can decide which to enter - I always find these irritating!
