I am almost done, having piggy-backed on your conversation, thanks...but I still can't get 4 down,

E?I?L? I can think of 2 things that fit but can't see why either could be right.

and 13 across ?a?b has me stumped as well.

and I think I have the simple answer to 19 down but I can't see why .

some of them seemd so easy I almost thought I wouldn't have to cheat...
