The micro-switches below the keys need a gentle touch, just like the mouse.

GK, you probably need a new keyboard. Possible problems:

- the switches are damaged.
- there's dirt in there.
- the encoder chip might be faulty

For a desktop, they start at $10 here. Of course, a quality keyboard will be more.
Have you noticed if particular keys are at fault? How old is the keyboard?

If you have a laptop, it will cost you. You could try a can of compressed air to blow out dirt.

I had a lot of problems with missing letters when the new site launched. I don't know if it coincidence, but when I changed from IE to Chrome (because the site kept crashing IE) the problem disappeared.

are you sure there are postings for 2012 1(jan) thru 2012 4(apr)?

I see what you mean, hayley; those months seem to be missing (though there might be a combined Dec-Jan issue).

if anyone has them please post them----I'll make a separate post on this in the hopes of getting more eyeballs.
