what started off as a straightforward crossword became tricky .

last clue has me completely baffled:
Advert seen around Spain for refrigerated transport(6)
letters: r-e-e-. any ideas ?

Reefer - refrigerated truck - refer (advert) around E (spain)

Just a small heads up. I've just submitted online, and got one answer wrong. I can't see where, and lots of other people seem to be getting one wrong.

It could just be me, but i'm wondered if the solution is wrong.

My best suspect would be 12a which they may wrongly have ending in D, or there may be an alternative actor for 25a?

I have finished it..I cant see a 12a in my crossword? 25a looks okay to me..

Sorry chrisg, its 10a I'm suspecting. As I say it could be my mistake, I just can't see it at the moment.

Hi Gok. I dont enter online. My 10a is printed as "Check on military supports" and I see the definition as "supports" The second part (military) is how the military are described in the UK

Every single clue/answer SEEMS straightforward.

Yes, 10a can only end in S, I'm just thinking the grid compiler may have made a mistake ON THIS ONE simply because there is another word that would fit

It just seems odd that so many people are getting one answer wrong on such a straightforward crossword.

I'll probably look at the soultion for the tenth time and then see where I was wrong!

NO!!!! It was my error!

There should have been no end to prison and then an anagram of etcits in 20a.

Perhaps lots of other people are making that mistake.
