Well I got totally hung up with the 12,5 which I originally thought was bell pepper because that's the only thing that would fit that you can make soup from. That's how my mind is working today!

glad it's not only me who is struggling! I have ..E SEASON - can't think what the answer is if it is not 'off' or 'dry' which is clearly isn't - not being a football supporter may not help...

It might have been as it is Paul (I did consider it), but in fact it's the source of the appalling long "sounds like" - see my earlier post for neko.

Do you have 24dn? If so, try pronouncing it, followed by "a" - it might give you a clue.

trouble is I am still a long way off several of the specified clues but I will not give up! so back to the drawing board! Thanks for you help I may be back for more later!

Hello Christined, isn't this one a stinker I am really stuck in the top right hand corner until I can work out 12.5 I am getting nowhere! how about you?
