Started walking again last week got in 3 (about 4 miles each). Another one this morning...so I think I'm ready for the start of our golf winter-league this Saturday. MRW suggested that I keep the leg elevated and I followed his advice to better effect.

Wow we're going back a bit there Ninian. I believe I had damaged my hamstring and it was very uncomfortable to put my foot flat on the floor. From memory I think I had overstretched it on the golf course and then it was followed up by a terrible mid-night cramp with me screaming the house down and finding that I had a lump the size of walnut in my calf. (My right leg has always been a bit of a problem I broke it badly playing football years ago...lost some length and had to have a metal plate put in). But I'm OK now.
