Just for the sake of completeness the clue was:

"Source of information for bank robery."(5)

The answer was 'hiest'.

You're right Rossim, it does.

I didn't have 6 across and thus the first letter of 'theft' so the 'h' from hiest seemed to fit.

Of course looking at 6 across now, 'Cease control of organ' is simply 'Stop'.
