The answer could be theft or tweet but neither fit the clue. Can someone explain please.

The FT (financial times) - theft

As most of us don't have the puzzle could you give the clue please?

FT - source of information

Source of information for bank robbery
...should have said FT = source of information for bank

Just for the sake of completeness the clue was:

"Source of information for bank robery."(5)

The answer was 'hiest'.

The t and e of theft fit better in my solution!!

There's no source of information in heist. Theft makes sense.

You're right Rossim, it does.

I didn't have 6 across and thus the first letter of 'theft' so the 'h' from hiest seemed to fit.

Of course looking at 6 across now, 'Cease control of organ' is simply 'Stop'.
