Need help with the parsing for these:-

He reproduces postcard about happy ending in Ulster - COPYCAT (Reproduces) I can see the 'Y' (HappY ending), but the rest.....

Line caught deer - ROE? (Deer)

Fish are line caught and there is a connection with the word roe but it's very tenuous.
It's either an awful clue or I'm way off the mark.
Did you have any crossers?

Hi Rossim, I'm fairly sure the R and E are correct, so what I have is R?E.
As for the first one I didn't know an Ulster was a coat. Many thanks.
