bulwark?

Bulwark is wrong - it's aileron.

AB curious to know why 'aileron' is preferable to 'bulwark' please?

First thought was bulwark but it didn't seem to fit the whole definition.
Looked up aileron and found "a wall at the end of a roof with a single slope, as that of a church aisle."

AB. Thank you, your dictionary has a better definition than this sites one.

I'd found aileron, and thought it fitted the movable surface bit(as in airplane wing) but my dictionary didn't give the architectural definition.

If your C is wrong the first one could be Skinny?
