Hi rosie I suspect all the ones with any brains are watching the tennis.The only thing I can come up with and am now fixated on is RODE as in in rode up or worked out of position.

A RODE is what they call a rope or chain holding an anchor in America

Rode also is an American word meaning anchor or chain, so seems to fit the bill.
