Decision time !
Some brilliant (pardon the pun) entries which makes me wonder if any of you are, or were, professional crossword setters ?
Clever anagrams were in profusion:I liked Rosalind post 7 to name just one, the usual risque ones (sorry, do not know how to put the accent aigu on) of aristo pot 8, and pastille pst 22. peterm post 9 very clever, rambler's pst 12 similar although cannot see relevance of US.
Was glad to see that Machu Pichu was not forgotten in peterm-s entry 45. I think ALL the posters can be proud of their effort.
However I chose as winner jws entry 13 Excited at home with the smell of a candle at Xmas.
I thought the sequence Christmas = Noel = No "EL" was a very clever construction.
As my prize please accept this very funny Laurel and Hardy DVD. Hope you enjoy it.
